<p><b>Vineyard Source</b><br />The vineyard is located on the Silverado Trail in the East foothills of the Southern part of the Stags Leap district. Soils are volcanic gravel-loam with hard clay bedrock underneath. Though moderately warm with afternoon marine winds acting as a natural “air conditioner,” Stags Leap is often up to 10 degrees warmer than neighboring Yountville. Wines are typically distinguished by perfumed cherry aromas and red berry flavors, supported by soft tannins and a velvety texture. <br /></p>
