Characteristics
Aromas of cedar, sage and cocoa, with flavors of dark chocolate and vanilla. Medium-bodied with integrated tannins and a welcoming bright finish. This wine is ready to enjoy, yet also possesses great potential to evolve and develop over time.
Vineyard Source
Owned and operated by the Eisele family for over three decades, this organically-farmed vineyard is located in central Chiles Valley AVA in the northeastern part of Napa Valley. This Cabernet Sauvignon is produced in a microclimate known for colder winter and spring seasons which lead to generally later harvests than on the valley floor, and for soils that are marine-based in origin. Chiles Valley Cabernets stand apart for their succulent blackberry flavors. These lush fruit notes balance the firmness of the tannins and taut acidity.
Barrel Aging - 28 months in French Oak
